Alison Link

Alison Link is a consultant, international presenter and specialist in leisure education. Her consulting service, The Leisure Link, Inc. (www.theleisurelinkconsulting.com) helps people and organizations get more enjoyment and satisfaction from leisure and life, by providing leisure coaching, counseling and consulting.

A doctoral candidate in social welfare at Yeshiva University, she holds an M.A. in recreation and leisure studies from New York University, and received her B.A. from Brown University.

Alison views leisure as a social justice issue, and has been working with prisoners, former prisoners and correctional facilities since starting her doctoral work. Her experience includes serving as director of leisure education at correctional facilities and at-risk youth organizations.

Alison promotes leisure education where ever she goes-- for kids, teenagers, young adults, and adults. Alison has dedicated herself to helping people reach their full potential and achieve life fulfillment. Articles about her work have been published in the New York Times. She is a board member of Take Back Your Time.
